Stampy inky

So I got some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink the other day and, while looking through boxes in the garage, uncovered some old embossing supplies. Yesterday I picked up a new stamp & wanted to see what I could do.

I reinked the embossing pad (I haven’t used it since before I got married & anniversary number 13 is this year, people!). I coated my stamp and plopped it on the paper. I sprinkled on some clear embossing powder, and hit it with the heat gun. I then pulled out the Vintage Photo distress ink and began inking away. Once I finished inking to the look I wanted, I drizzled on a little water by flicking a wet toothbrush. I’m pretty happy with it being a first attempt. What do you think?
